July 2<o:p></o:p>National Anisette Day - Anisette, a liquor derived from the anis herb, is extremely popular in Spain, Italy, Portugal and France. Either with or without sweetening syrups, the liquor is enjoyed by many with its licorice-like taste, so much so that on July 2nd, many people in the United States celebrate the drink.<o:p></o:p> World UFO Day - On July 2, 1947, a UFO was seen crash landed in Roswell, New Mexico. While debates and conspiracies have arisen surrounding that event, World UFO Day is celebrated by many, who keep a close eye that night by watching for more unidentified flying objects as well as other proof of other lifeforms. <o:p></o:p> July 3<o:p></o:p>National Fried Clam Day - An iconic food, especially in New England, it originates from Massachusetts in 1914 and has remained an American staple to this day.
